Head of After Sales & Services (m/f/d)
Main responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the spare parts department and service division
- Forecast demand and maintain an adequate stock of spare parts
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs while meeting customer needs
- Ensure timely resolution of service requests, maintenance activities, and repairs
- Lead and manage a team of spare parts personnel and service technicians
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members
- Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of spare parts
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements
- Continuously evaluate and improve spare parts management and service processes
- Interact with customers, handle inquiries, and resolve issues
- Gather customer feedback and insights to enhance service quality
- Generate reports and analyze data related to spare parts inventory, service performance, and customer satisfaction
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and recommendations
Requirement profile:
- University degree in Engineering
- No less than 15-year job related experiences
- Fluency in English and can manage spoken German is highly preferred
- Strong ability to influence external stakeholders
- Ability to build bridges and align the agendas of multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome
- Team player and knows how to work well with and develops/motivates people
